Timothy Shawn Brubaker

Timothy Shawn Brubaker, 37 of Lorain, Ohio died Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was born on February 24, 1981 in Lorain where he was a life long resident. Mr. Brubaker was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. He enjoyed playing video games and watching NASCAR. Mr. Brubaker is survived by his mother, Alma Jean (nee: Goble) Carder of Lorain, his son, T. J. Brubaker of North Olmsted, Ohio, his daughter, Allison Jean Brubaker of Pennsylvania, brothers, Chuck (financee, Cyndi M.) Carr of Newbury, Ohio, Lonnie (Nicole) Carr and John (Mara) Carder, both of Lorain and nieces and nephews, including Logan, Savannah, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Karlee, Lonna, Jesse, Meridian, Brandon, Kyle, Ryan and Patricia, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his best friend, John Belt of Amherst, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Brubaker, his son, Sebastian A. Brubaker, his brother, Jessie M. Carr and his grandparents, Ada and Everett Goble. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 2 PM until 4 PM and from 6 PM until 8 PM in the Word of Life Church, 3008 Grove Avenue, at Route 57, Lorain, Ohio 44055. Funeral services will be in the church on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11 AM with The Rev. Mr. Ray Smith, pastor and The Rev. Wayne Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio 44001. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
