Sharon Lee Phelps

Sharon Lee Phelps, age 76, passed away February 24, 2019 at the Oak Hills Nursing Home, Lorain, Ohio. Born May 21, 1942 to the late Melvin and Lorraine (nee Wienke) Randall in New York, Sharon married the late Garland J. Phelps and they made their home in Lorain. She enjoyed her life as a homemaker and loved listening to music, watching movies and had a true love for people. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Russell and sister Patricia. She is survived by her children, Joan Julock, Dorothy Nail, Albert Phelps and Scott Phelps; grandchildren, Christina, Nina, Jacob, Kateland, Andrew, Teddy, Penny, Veit and 4 great grandchildren. A committal service will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd., Avon, OH 44011. Immediately following at 3:30 p.m., a Memorial Service will be held at the Amherst Church of the Nazarene, 210 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, OH 44001, with a reception to follow.
