Ronald "Baldy" Miller, age 80, passed away December 31, 2025 after a brief illness. He was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania and resided in Lorain and Amherst most of his life, retiring from Lorain's Ford Motor Co., assembly, with 33 years of service.
Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and working in his garden. He was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Indians. He had a work ethic that was hard to match and loved to joke and socialize with everyone.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Baker Miller; son, Robert L. Baker and mother, Thelma "Pee Wee" Ferrel. He is survived by son, Jason L. (Jacquie) Miller; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Please join his family for a celebration of his life on Saturday, January 24th, from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Amherst VFW, 165 Cleveland Ave., Amherst Ohio. The family requests contributions be made in Ron's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, at support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
