Paul E. Lilly, Sr.

Paul E. Lilly, Sr. 84 of Lorain, Ohio went home to be with the Lord in Heaven on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born on April 21, 1930 in Flat Top, West Virginia to the late Ora B. (nee: Harvey) and Kenneth S. Lilly. Mr. Lilly served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a hard working man who took pride in never missing a day of work. His life centered around his family. Mr. Lilly loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Dot (nee: Clark) Lilly, his sons, Paul E. Lilly, Jr. of Lorain and Timothy J. Lilly of Vermilion, Ohio, his daughter, Peggy (Colin) Kaspirek of Lorain, thirteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lilly was preceded in death by his daughter, Joann, five brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5 PM until 7:30 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Dorsey of Tower Baptist Church, Lorain officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio with full military honors conducted by the Louis Paul Proy Chapter, No. 20, DAV and the Ohio Army Honors Guard.
