Myrtle E. Buxton

Myrtle E. Buxton died Thursday, June 28, 2018 in her home. She was born to the late Susie (nee: Cotton) and James Harrison Wood on December 4, 1921 in Lorain, Ohio where she was a life long resident. Mrs. Buxton was a 1939B graduate of Lorain High School. She was a homemaker whose hobbies included doing cross word puzzles and reading. Mrs. Buxton is survived by her sister, June Saras of Idlewild, California, nieces, Linda (Bob) Staff of Idlewild, Laura (Steve) Sotro of Showlow, Arizona and Jill (Bob) Baumler of Manhattan, Montana and nephews, Jay R. Baumler of Roanoke, Virginia and John (Marie) Baumler of Oberlin, Ohio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. ‘Bill' Buxton, Jr. on January 26, 2000 and her daughter, Nina June Buxton on January 25, 2006.
