Murlene Conkle

Murlene Conkle, age 89, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home, Lorain, Ohio. Born in Weeksbury, Kentucky to the late Robert and Delphia (nee Franisco), she was a graduate of Pikeville High School, attended Euclid Academy Beauty Culture in Parma, Ohio, volunteered for Autumn Aegis and was a home health care aid. Murlene is survived by her son, Larry Johnston, Daniel (Wendy) Johnston; daughter, Brenda Hall; grandchildren, Robert (Tonya) Johnston, Larry (Cori) Johnston, Greg (Jillian) Hall. Zachary, Lori (Jordan), Blake, Connor, Marie and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sherman Johnston, second husband, George Conkle; son, Sherman Johnston, Jr. and sisters Lennie Welch, Pearl Casebolt, Vera Loudy, Gipsie Mann, Lakie and Mable Adkins.
