Mary C. Mitroff

Mary C. Mitroff (nee: Maley), 86 of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly a life long resident of Lorain, Ohio. died Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Lorain to the late Kathryn (nee: Toth) and Ernest C. Maley. She was a graduate of Lorain High School Class of 1947-A. Mrs. Mitroff was a life long member of St. Mary's Church, Lorain. Neighbors said that Mary had a heart of gold and would always give to those in need. The neighborhood children loved her. Mrs. Mitroff is survived by her daughters, Lois (Ken Thomas) Bishop of Winterhaven, Florida, Patricia (Randy) Hupp of Pt. St. Lucie and Karen Bryant of Waldorf, Maryland, her sister, Ernestine (Joseph) Machnik of Indiana, her grandchildren, Joy (Jason) Shatek, John Bryant and Christy Kelly and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 6 PM until 9 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Funeral mass will be at 10 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2015 (meet at the church please) at St. Mary's Church, 8th Street and Reid Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 with The Rev. Fr. Daniel O.
