Mary K. Haslage, 73 of Lorain, Ohio died Friday morning, November 17, 2017 in Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain. She was born on February 9, 1944 in Clarksville, Pennsylvania to the late Rita M. and Thomas O. Murphy. Mrs. Haslage moved to Lorain where she made her home for the remainder of her life. She was a former member of Day Chapter, No. 479, O. E. S. Mrs. Haslage was a dedicated volunteer for Alcoholics Anonymous where she assisted countless individuals. She enjoyed knitting. Mrs. Haslage is survived by her sons, Robert Eugene Plumley of Pennsylvania, Thomas T. Plumley and Brian P. Plumley both of Lorain, step-son, Michael T. Haslage of Lorain, step-daughter, Shelly W. of Lorain, numerous grandchildren, brothers, Thomas E. (Cynthia) Murphy, Frank (Linda) Murphy, both of Ohio and Dennis J. (Debra) Murphy of Florida and sister, Patricia A. Murphy of Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Haslage, brother, Billy Murphy, sisters, Judith Freiberg and Barbara Murphy and step-daughter, Christy L. Friends will be received on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 2 PM until 4PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 where funeral services will follow in the funeral home with Pastor Rich Henry, of the Church if the Nazarene, Amherst, Ohio officiating.
