Marjorie Bergman died in her home after a prolonged illness on October 2, 2011. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren at the time of her death. Marjorie was born on June 7, 1927 in Lafayette, Indiana and grew up in Bexley, Ohio. After marrying Ivan R. Bergman, she lived most of her adult life in Lorain, Ohio. They retired together to Coconut Creek, Florida, where she resided until her death. She was predeceased by her husband and survived by her children Greg (Kathie) Bergman and Janet (Gary) Azaroff, four grandchildren, Jamie (Kevin) Zmija, Renee (Tim) Sprague, Kyle Bergman, and Ellie Bergman, and her great-granddaughter Isabel Zmija. During her lifetime, she was active as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, Temple Sisterhood, Hadassah, Pap Corps Township, a local hospital auxiliary, and others. Marjorie's friends and family will always remember her bright spirit, good sense of humor, and selfless generosity. Everyone who met her was touched by her happy, positive, and loving approach to life. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at noon in Salem Cemetery, Sheffield Twp., Ohio with Cantor David Wolinsky of the ABI Synagogue officiating. Burial will follow. The Walter A.
