Marie Louise Benyo

Marie Louise Benyo, 82, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at her residence.

She was born June 8, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Frances Knyszek. She currently resided in Sheffield Lake. 

Marie, known to many as Louise, owned and operated Louise’s Cakes and Candies in Sheffield Lake. A pillar in the community, she was known for her sense of humor, quick wit, and her tremendous patience and unending love of giving to others. A friend to many, she will be missed by all.

She is survived by sons, Frank and Steven Benyo; daughter, Anna (Mike) Wiltrout; grandchildren, Ashley, Daniel, Devon and Courtney; great grandson, Frank and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Frank; daughter, Frances and brother, Johnny Knyszek.

A graveside service will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, September 13th, at Elmwood Cemetery, 640 N. Ridge Rd., Lorain, Ohio 44052. Please assemble inside the cemetery gates just prior to 1 PM.
