Lillian Mae Tomaro, age 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior March 27, 2017.
Born March 25, 1933 in Johnstown, PA to the late Arthur and Gwennie (nee Buzzard) Burfield, she lived her life in the Lorain and Cleveland area, but most recently resided in Bellevue, OH.
Her love for the Lord led her in woman's ministries as a Sunday greeter, cooking for church events, serving communion and ministering to the sick with her hand made prayer pillows. She enjoyed her collection of music boxes and angels, but most especially the time she shared with her family and her unconditional love for them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Tomaro, Sr.; daughter, Janice Lynn Eddy; brother, Art Burfield and sister, Jean Johnston.
She is survived by son, John (Debra) Tomaro, Jr.; daughters, JoAnn (Dennis) Acevedo, Joyce (Lonnie) Berry, Judy (Mark) Heiser and Jeanette (George) Eberle; brother, William Spicker; sisters, Dolly Senderak, Dorrie Ann Kearns and Wailee Watson; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Friends received Thursday, March 30th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, Lorain. Funeral service Friday, 11 a.m. from the funeral home. Interment to follow, Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.
