Katie Jacoby (nee: Reich), 95, formerly of Lorain, Ohio and Cleveland, Ohio died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Main Street Care Center, Avon Lake, Ohio. She was born to the late Sabina and Herman Reich on September 11, 1921 in Cleveland. Mrs. Jacoby was a member of the Agudath B'nai Israel Synagogue, Lorain, the Temple Sisterhood for which she was the past president and Hadassah International. She loved playing mahjong. Mrs. Jacoby is survived by her son, Howard (Diane) Jacoby of Lakewood, Ohio, her daughter, Sheila Jacoby of Westlake, Ohio, her sister, Diane Packer of Lyndhurst, Ohio and grandchildren, Erin and Nathan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard in 1985. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 1 PM in Salem Cemetery, Sheffield Twp., Ohio with Mark Jaffee officiating. Burial will follow. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
