Joseph Frank Lovas

Joseph Frank Lovas, 70 of Lorain, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born on April 28, 1948 in Lorain where he had been a life long resident. For thirty eight years Mr. Lovas was employed as an assembler for the Ford Motor Company, Brook Park. He retired in 2006. He was a great guy from a large, loving family. Mr. Lovas was a homebody who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He centered his life around helping people. His passion was listening to music. Mr. Lovas is survived by his wife, Joyce Faye (nee: Collett) to whom he was married for eighteen years, his son, Joseph Lovas III of Akron, Ohio, his daughter, Stephanie (Steve) Amador of Akron, grandchildren, Elisiah, Trinity and Ethan and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 3 PM until 6 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Funeral service will be in the funeral home on Sunday at 5:30 PM.
