Joan A. Flood

Joan A. Flood, 51 of Lorain, Ohio died Saturday evening, August 3, 2013 in the Emergency Room of Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain. She was born to the late Evelyn Jane (nee: Walter) and Thomas James Flood on September 27, 1961 in Lorain, Ohio. Joan made her home in Lorain for the remainder of her life. She was a graduate of the Murray Ridge School. Joan was employed for over thirty years at the Lorain Opportunity/Vocational Center of Murray Ridge Center. Joan loved animals, especially her two cats and dog. She enjoyed swimming, watching movies and listening to music. Joan is survived by her sister, Susan A. Flood of Erlanger, Kentucky and her foster parents, Ira and Larry Honeberger with whom she made her home. There will be no service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
