Jessie M. 'Mickey' Carr

Jessie M. 'Mickey' Carr, 40 of Lorain, Ohio died Monday evening, September 7, 2015 in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit of Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain. He was born on July 10, 1975 in Lorain where he had been a life long resident. Mickey who was affectionately known as 'Mr. Fix It' was a jack of all trades. He loved fishing and had an affection for all sports especially baseball and NASCAR. Mickey was an ardent fan of The Ohio State University and all Cleveland sport teams especially the Cleveland Indians. He loved spending time and entertaining his nieces, nephews and all children and listening to music particularly country and classic rock. Mickey is survived by his mother, Alma Jean Carder of Lorain, his father, Charles Wayne Carr of Louisville, Ohio, his maternal grandmother, Ada B. Goble of Laguna Vista, Texas and Lorain, his sons, Jesse, Jr. of Lorain and John M. Carr of Louisville, his daughters, Patricia L. 'Tricia' Sexton of Lorain and April M. Carr of Louisville, his brothers, Lawrence J. 'Lonnie' (Nicole L. Wolfgang) Carr, Tim S. (Heather L. Novinger) Brubaker, and John W. (Mara Buczynsky) Carder all of Lorain, his granddaughter, Karlee M. Wolfgang and numerous nieces and nephews including Lonna, Meridian, Logan and Savannah. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 5 PM until 7 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11 AM. with Pastor Geneva Hedrick officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio.
