Jerry A. Gentile

Jerry A. Gentile, 74 of Sheffield Village, Ohio died Sunday afternoon, July 21, 2013 in the Emergency Room of EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, Ohio. He was born to the late Julia (nee: Ciocca) and Frank Gentile on March 29, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Gentile served in the U. S. Army. He was employed in the maintenance department of Southwest General Hospital, Oakview. Mr. Gentile loved golfing and bowling; he had a 300 game. He is survived by his wife, Catherine A. Price-Gentile, his step-sons, Richard (Diana) Csubak of Sterling, Connecticut, Troy (Leigh) Csubak of Danville, Indiana and John (Denise) Csubak of LaGrange, Ohio, his daughters, Lynda McGillivray, Julia Martin and Jennifer Gentile all of Strongsville, Ohio, nine grandchildren and one sister, Linda Gentile of Strongsville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gentile was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, John who was his twin and Richard. A memorial service with full military honors will be conducted by the Amherst Military Honor Guard on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 1 PM in the Walter A.
