Jennie Levine (nee: Krand), 98, formerly of Lorain, Ohio died Friday, February 27, 2015 in Avon Oaks Caring Community following a brief illness. She was born on December 24, 1916 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Stella (nee: Pappas) and George Krand. Mrs. Levine graduated from Lorain High School. She was the co-owner of Harry's Men's Wear in Lorain. Mrs. Levine was a member of the Quota Club, Lorain. She had a passion for traveling. Mrs. Levine cherished the time which she spend with her best friends, Arthur Lipsin with who she had the pleasure of a thirty five year friendship and Frances Berner. She is survived by her sons, Dennis A. (Brenda K.) Levine of Avon, Ohio and Leonard S. Levine of Cleveland, Ohio and her grandchildren, Jacob, Alexandra, Jordan and Adam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on December 29, 1977 by her husband of twenty nine years Harry Levine to whom she was married on August 2, 1948, her brother James Krand and her sister, Chris Austin. By her request, she was cremated with private family services and burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Walter A.
