Jackie Lee Saylor

Jackie Lee Saylor, 73 of Lorain, Ohio died Saturday afternoon, August 22, 2015 in his home. He was born on January 25, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Esther G. (nee: Lemmer) and Herbert P. Saylor. Mr. Saylor moved to Lorain, Ohio where he has made his home for over thirty years. He was employed for General Motor, Brook Park, Ohio. Mr. Saylor was a member of the Church of God. He is survived by his son, Jackie Lee Saylor, Jr. of Amherst, Ohio, daughters, Kimberly A. (John Edward) Turner of Lorain and Deborah A. (Ken) Pfann of Wakeman, Ohio, his brother, Herb (Mary Jane) Saylor of Mansfield, Ohio, his sister, Darlene (Blair) Bryant of Lorain, grandchildren, Jeremy, James, Kelly, Victoria, Amanda and Ashlee and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death on May 12, 2007 by his wife, Eileen Francis (nee: Kiefer) Saylor to whom he was married for forty five years. A memorial service will be on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 6 PM in the Church of God of Prophecy, 11797 Island Road, Grafton, Ohio 44044 with The Rev. Mr. Lanny Carter and The Rev. Mr. Arnold Mullins officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
