Jack W. Ritchey, Jr., 67 of Lorain, Ohio died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in his home. He was born to the late Margaret Gladys (nee: Hostetlor) and Jack Willis Ritchey, Sr. on July 8, 1948 in Lorain, Ohio where he has been a life long resident. Mr. Ritchey served in the US Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. He was employed as a bus driver; for five years, he was affiliated with the Lorain Police Auxiliary. Mr. Ritchey attended the First Lutheran Evangelical Church, Lorain, Ohio. His passion was doing Elvis Presley impersonations and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. He enjoyed working on cars. Mr. Ritchey is survived by his wife, Peggy Lee (nee: Temple) to whom he was married for forty two years, his sons, Steven W. Ritchey, Jack W. (Stephanie Marie) Ritchey, both of Lorain and Orion D. (Melissa) Ritchey of Elyria, Ohio, his daughters, Amy Horinek of Lorain, Gladys A. (Christopher, Sr.) Tolliver of Tennessee, Jennifer R. Ritchey and Lisa P. Ritchey, both of Elyria, his brother, David R. Krebs of Cleveland, Ohio, twenty one grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2015 from noon until 3 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11 AM with Lt. Jimmie Susa of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio with full military honors by the Louis Paul Proy Chapter, No. 20, Lorain. Online condolences to www.freyfuneralhome.com.
