JD Royster Obituary

J D Royster, 79, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his residence in Lorain. A native of Garrison, Kentucky, J D was born May 3, 1943 to the late Russell and Eva (Howard) Royster.

His occupation in the steel industry brought him to Lorain where he retired from U.S. Steel as a crane operator.

J D is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ann Royster-Patterson (Tom Witten); brothers, Ted, Tony and Monty Royster; sister, Joyce Campbell; grandchildren, Edith, Sandra, Christina, Timothy and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives, Mildred Katherine (Roberts) Royster, Mary Lee (Schaffer) Royster and sister, Loretta Fay Alexander.

Interment, Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 N. Ridge Rd., Amherst.
