Gerry Gary Mazorow

Gerry Gary Mazorow, 83 of Lorain, Ohio died Friday, June 13, 2014 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain. She was born on January 23, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Mazorow was raised in Cleveland, Ohio; she moved to Lorain where she has made her home for the remainder of her life. She attended Ohio State University. Mrs. Mazorow prided herself on being a wonderful friend and mother. She was a volunteer aide at the former St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain. Mrs. Mazorow was a member of the Agudath B'nai Israel Synagogue, Lorain and a Life Member of Hadassah International. She was a member of the Lorain Country Club where she was active in sports, especially golf and tennis in which she excelled and enjoyed playing. Mrs. Mazorow is survived by her husband, Dr. Henry Mazorow, her daughter, Jamie Gary Rufin of Fontainebleau, France and her grandchildren, Jules Gary of Lorain, Anne Rufin, Sophia Rufin, Alex Rufin and Benjamin Rufin all of France. She was preceded in death by her son, Joey Gary on April 9, 2013. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 11 AM in Salem Cemetery, 1459-1461 North Ridge Road, East, Sheffield Twp., Ohio 44054 where burial will follow.
