Francis C. 'Bud' Wilsey

Francis C. 'Bud' Wilsey, Sr., 76 of Lorain, Ohio died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in University Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio following a sudden illness. He was born in Franklin, Pennsylvania on May 4, 1937 to the late Doris Emma (nee: Winegardener) and Glenni Schofield 'Pop' Wilsey II. Mr. Wilsey made his residence in Lorain for most of his life. He served in the US Air Force. Mr. Wilsey owned and operated Lorain Used Appliances. For over thirty years he loved going out on his boat with his family. In addition to boating, he enjoyed going for long Sunday drives with his family. Mr. Wilsey is survived by his sons, Ron (Becky) Lacey, of Lima, Ohio, Richard Schroeder, Francis 'Tink' Wilsey, Jr. and Ozzie (Esther Stoutenburgh) Wilsey, all of Lorain, his daughter, Ellen M. Turer of Litchfield Park, Arizona, a brother, Glenni S. 'Sonny' (Bernadette) Wilsey III of Vermilion and grandchildren, Ronnie, Jr., Brooke, Brandy, Heather, Holly, Kristina Michelle, Nash and Austin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty five years, Charlotte A. (nee: Tremaine) Wilsey, one brother and two sisters. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 4 PM until 7 PM at the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
