Eugene Lee Gary

Eugene Lee Gary, 88, of Lorain and Las Vegas, Nevada passed away after a short illness Sunday April 9th at Mountain View Hospital .
He was born on April 6th 1929 in Lorain,Ohio to Ruth and David Gary.
He graduated from Lorain High School and Ohio State University.
Gene was a member of Agudith Bnai Israel Synagogue. He was an avid tennis and golf player . In retirement he loved his active life and the many friends he enjoyed in Las Vegas.
He was the former owner of Ohio Motors and a real estate investor.
Gene is survived by his wife Joan Gary, daughter Jamie Rufin, son in law, Herve Rufin, daughter in law, Kathy Gary and five grandchildren, Jules Gary, Anne Rufin, Sophia Rufin, Alex Rufin,Benjamin Rufin and his brother, Robert Gary.
He was preceded in death by his son Joel Gary.
Services will be held graveside at 1 p.m. Friday, April 14th at Salem Jewish Cemetery, North Ridge Road immediately east of Sheffield Center, Lorain, Ohio.
The family requested donations be made to the Autism Foundation, Las Vegas Nevada, 630 Rancho Dr, 89106.
