Elizabeth Dunn

Elizabeth Dunn (nee: Pratt), 102 of Lorain, Ohio died Monday, December 1, 2014 in Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain following a brief illness. She was born on June 25, 1912 in Vicco, Kentucky to the late Ollie and James Pratt. Before making her home in Lorain, Mrs. Dunn worked in the housekeeping department in Kentucky hospitals. She loved playing cards, especially rummy. Mrs. Dunn had a passion for being with her grandchildren. Playing Chinese checkers, going on picnics and camping were among those things which she enjoyed doing. She had a talent for vegetable gardening. Mrs. Dunn is survived by her children, Donald R. (Arbie) Dunn of Waterford, Michigan, Margaret J. Dunn of Lorain, Manuel R. (Phyllis) Dunn of Crestwood, Kentucky and Harold B. (Sharon) Dunn of Lorain, numerous grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over forty years Corbett Dunn who died in 1969, her son, Denver Dunn, her daughter, Cleda M. Johnson, five brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 11 AM until 1 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 where funeral services will be at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.,Ohio.
