Carl Edward Green

Carl Edward Green, 62 of Lorain, Ohio died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from a sudden natural illness in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina while visiting his daughter. He was born to the late Betty Susan (Lacy) and Carl Green on July 12, 1952 in West Virginia. His family moved to Lorain where he made his home for the remainder of his life. Carl was a 1971 graduate of Lorain High School. He is employed for U. S. Steel, Lorain for the past forty two years. Carl was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 30, Lorain and the Fraternal Order of the Moose, No. 552, Lorain. He had a love of antiquing, collecting, gardening and the great outdoors. Carl is survived by his companion of thirty years, Paulette Kerpics, his daughters, Stephanie Lynn (Jeremy) Green-Jones of Conway, South Carolina and Tanya (Jeremy) Forman of Lorain, his brothers, Herman Bob Green, Randy (Brenda) Green and Tim (Pam) Green, all of Lorain, His grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordan, Jeremy, Jr., Madison, J. D. and Kaylee, One great granddaughter, Sophia, Alyssa's child, many nieces and nephews and Paulette's sons, Steve and John. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 4 PM until 6 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
