Brenda Rosezella Wilhelm

Brenda Rosezella Comer Wilhelm, 59 of Lorain, Ohio died Friday, December 13, 2013 at home. She was born on June 23, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Clara Fay (nee: McCormick) who died in 1998 and Leonard Ray Comer who died in 1972. Brenda moved to St. Albans, West Virginia before coming to Lorain where she made her home for the remainder of her life. She graduated from St. Albans High School and attended nursing school for three years. Brenda was a homemaker who formerly did nursing. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lorain. Brenda was a member of the PTA. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson Joey, listening to music and traveling. Brenda loved flying and took lessons. She is survived by her husband of nine years, James Martin Wilhelm, her daughter, Holly Jo (Allen) Woolf of Lorain, her brother, Albert Lewis (Theresa) Comer of Lorain, her sisters, Elizabeth Laura Sanson of Lorain and Wilma Lorraine Degraw of Amherst, Ohio and two grandchildren, Joseph Woolf and Brandon Manning, both of Lorain. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon David Castillo in February of 1974. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2 PM until 4 PM and from 6 PM until 8 PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 where funeral services will be on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11 AM with Pastor Jimmy Madsen of First Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
