Bleema R. Evenchik

Bleema R. Evenchik (nee: Roth), 83 of Lorain, Ohio died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain. She was born to the late Fannie (nee: Berger) and Alex Roth in Lorain on August 6, 1927. Mrs. Evenchik had been a life long Lorain resident. She was a 1945 Lorain High School graduate. Mrs. Evenchik worked in her father's real estate business and later in life worked in her husband's auto parts business. She was a member of the Agudath B'nai Israel Synagogue, Lorain; she was also a member of the Temple Sisterhood and Hadassah. Mrs. Evenchik's life centered around her family. She was an avid NASCAR fan. Mrs. Evenchik is survived by her husband of sixty three years William H. Evenchik, her sons, Sanford N. (Karen S.) Evenchik of Orange Village, Ohio and Leonard N. (Suzanne R.) Evenchik of Cambridge, Massachusetts, her daughter, Edie E. Schneider of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Roth. Funeral services were on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11 A. M. in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 with Cantor David Wolinsky, of ABI Synagogue officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, Sheffield Twp., Ohio. A period of mourning will be observed at the late residence, 800 Red Hill Drive, Lorain, Ohio 44052 on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 1 P. M. until 6 P. M.
