Betty Wright Obituary

Betty Lou Wright (nee: Morgan), 82 of Lorain, Ohio died Tuesday evening, November 23, 2010 in Kingston of Vermilion. She was born to the late LaVerne (nee: Morgan) and Joseph Morgan on July 22, 1927 in Bellaire, Ohio. Mrs. Wright moved from Bellaire to Lorain where she made her home for over fifty years. She was employed for eighteen years as a manufacturing assembler at Lorain Products before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church, Lorain (formerly Christ United Methodist Church) where she was a member of Martha's Circle. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and assisting in church dinners and functions. Mrs. Wright is survived by her son, Charles W. (Kelly J.) Wright of Lorain, her daughters, Charlene J. Gahagan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kathleen M. (Marshall T.) James of Lorain, her sister, Dorothy Manley of Parma, Ohio, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Junior Wright in 1973 and her sister, Jean Muggleton. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 6 P. M. until 8 P. M. at the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 and at the Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church 3015 Meister Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053 on Monday, November 29, 2010 from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 P. M. The Rev. Mr. Gregory Sellers, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse United Methodist Church or to New Life Hospice, 5255 N. Abbe Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
