Betty Lou Hellinger

Betty (Auntie) Lou Hellinger, age 84, passed away January 10th, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice. Born, May 3rd 1933 to the late Earl Hellinger and LuLu Turlip, she was a graduate of Lorain High School and worked for A&P Grocery in the meat department for 27 years then with Lorain City Schools until she retired in 1995. She was a very creative individual and enjoyed reading, puzzles, crafting, cooking and baking during her free time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Edward Turlip; brother, Earl Hellinger Jr; sister, Mary Eloise Lute; and nephew, Lawrence A. Lute. She is survived by her niece, Bambie Trupo (Bob); nephew, Mark Lute (Janet); 7 Great nieces and many Great-Great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday, January 20th, 2018, from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Ave. Lorain Ohio.
