Anita Gerenraich Obituary

Anita Berg Gerenraich (nee: Sepsenwol), 99 of Irvine, California, formerly of Lorain, Ohio died early Sunday morning, August 4, 2013 in her home. She was born in Lorain on December 19, 1913 to the late Bessie (nee: Ginnburg) and Nathan Sepsenwol. Mrs. Gerenraich with her first husband were the owners of Acme Glass and Paint Company, Lorain. She was a former member of the Agudath B'nai Israel Synagogue, Lorain where she was a member of the Temple Sisterhood. Mrs. Gerenraich was a member and past president of Hadassah International. She was a member and avid golfer at Oak Hills Country Club, Lorain. Mrs. Gerenraich is survived by her son, Paul (Elaine) Berg of Encino, California, her daughter, Deanie (Frank) Pass of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, three grandchildren, Kerri Berg, Robyn Berg and Zachary Pass, a great granddaughter, Lauren Berg and her sister-in-law, Ruth Sepsenwol. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Hill Berg and her second husband, Charles Gerenraich. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11 AM in Salem Cemetery, Sheffield Twp., Ohio with Cantor David Wolinsky of the ABI Synagogue officiating. Burial will follow. The Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contribution may be made to the donor's choice.
