Alice Ann Wade

Alice Ann Wade (nee: Hessler), 75 of Lorain, Ohio died early Saturday morning, October 23, 2010 in the Hospice Care Center of the Renaissance, Olmsted Falls, Ohio. She was born to the late Flora (nee: Britten) and Oscar Hessler on January 17, 1935 in Belmont County, Ohio. When she was sixteen years old, Mrs. Wade came to Lorain where she made her home for most of her life. She loved reading books. Mrs. Wade is survived by her sons, Robert Wade of Springfield, Ohio and Kevin Wade of Scott Township, Pennsylvania, her daughter, Tina (Dale) Cypress of Springfield, Ohio and her sister Dolores M. Bickmeier of Lorain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John 'Jack' Charles Wade, a veteran in 1983 and her brother, Robert Hessler. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 2 P. M. until 4 P. M. and from 7 P. M. until 9 P. M. in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052 where additional parking and handicapped entrance is in the rear parking plaza. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11 A. M. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio.
