Alice Katherine Smarsh

Alice Katherine Smarsh, passed away November 11, 2023 at the age of 88. A lifelong resident of Lorain, she was born to the late William and Matilda (nee Jackson) Smarsh. A graduate of Lorain High School, she worked as an Operator and Service Representative for 40 years at Elyria Telephone Co.

Alice is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her two good friends, Donna Wade and Marcia Fuller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Nelson Jackson-Smarsh and sisters, Dorothy May Wilson and Clara R. Bellamy.

Her family will receive friends at the ANDRAS CREMATORY & FUNERAL HOME, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 10 AM until time of service at 12 Noon. Private interment, Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Shawn and Kizzie Bellamy for their loving kindness and care during the later years of her life.
