Fannie Elizabeth 'Jackie' Stanley (nee: Byrd), 73 of Lorain, Ohio died Monday afternoon, October 25, 2010 in the New Life Hospice of St. Joseph, Lorain. She was born to the late Eloise and William Byrd on August 21, 1937 in Calypso, North Carolina. Mrs. Stanley came fifty seven years ago to Lorain where she has made her home. Mrs. Stanley loved fishing in Canada with her husband. She is survived by her husband of fifty seven years Donald A. Stanley, her daughters, Janice Marie Ransom of Elyria, Ohio and Donna Rae Horn of Marengo, Ohio and her grandchildren, Randy Simmons, Elizabeth Simmons, Robert Simmons, Amanda Benedict, Brandon Humpleby and Joshua Humpleby. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her son, Donald A. Stanley, Jr. in 1999 and five brothers and sisters. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Walter A.
